rof well apparently you just want too jump my chit again because mark hisself told me and my buddy scooter he has mixed his "leaner" just trying too get horsepower since he isnt running anymore until avi...and yes i noticed the difference in the smoke color too ask in the night lights...and all i know is he pulled it off if it was the oil mixture or all the other tuning he was ahead of the pack and the one too catch billet cast or plastic cylinders that biotch was friggin flying

According to the guys that race v6 outboard 2 stroke motors, there is no HP loss until you get above 20:1 oil ratios and less oil in the mix means less ring seal so there is no HP improvement for running less than 32:1. They've even played with the DFI 2 stroke oils that mix at 50:1 or 100:1 and found no additional HP. Jetting will change with various oil ratios but according to them, HP won't change unless you really load it up with oil (more than 20:1).

I have no idea if that's accurate and mean no disrespect to anyone that believes (or knows) different, just passing board info from another type of 2 stroke motor racing.

I dont mind JW, I have been racing for over 25 years in some platform or another,and have tried plenty and seen plenty, we used to have trays put in our cars valve covers , fill them with pop and have the pcv valve suck it up lol not to mention carts and oil, the tech guy needs to be the best uuuhh should I say resourceful or imaginative person lol

it really dont matter anyways but have you ever messed up and put straight gas in a chain saw or weedeater ? my buddy did in his chainsaw and it cut a tree like it was a twig of grass and sounded like it was shot with 100shot of nitrous ! then locked the hell up ! and when i was about 12 me and my friend put straight gas in a old rusted out 2stroke push mower his dad was throwing away and for about 5 mins i never heard one rev and cut throu so much chit ! so i know if you really lean out oil it will make hp i learned that from just being a mean azz kid ! but who cares anyways shrug...i could probably lean my bike all the way out and pull every trick i knew and never catch that triple of marks ! its just a bike that happened too have everything built and tuned so perfect it shined aboved the majority ....and marks bike wasnt the only one running leaner ratios so its not new technology its just prefference

that's right we ran all types of oils on the dyno from 120:1 to 10:1 with the wide band hooked up. not much differance the amsoil dominator made 2 hp on 165 hp motor(1.25%) when we ran it at 50:1 with the a/f ratio at a perfect 13:1 it goes leaner a/f when you ad more oil.So to test it fair you need to re-tune just about every time.now running no oil will sound like its got more power as soon as you put a load on it the friction comes in to play robbing hp.
