If these rules were enforced there would be a lot of bikes that will not run unless they change to comply with the rules!

A lot of times the IHRA/NHRA are taken out of the Picture when it is a ATV/Motorcycle Shootout. And the Rules are made by the ones that are putting on the Races anyway. It was a referance to show those that may go to a open T-N-T session at a IHRA/NHRA Track that is ran by the regular Track people that have their own Tech guys to inforce the Rules, what to expect.

One time I drove about 2 Hrs to a New Track I had never been to. A IHRA Track and they told me I had to have Nerf Bars on my Bike. It was at that time in the rule book.
So the Post is just to let folks know what to expect and when they may be able to get away with out having to abide by the Rules...
I've seen a lot of the Rules not inforced at T-N-T sessions. Such asATV's Running Noss and Log Chassies,No Chain Gaurds, No Front Brakes. Folks still get to run..
Happy Racing....

Does that mean you can't enter the classes or you cannot run at all at that track unless you meet the rules?

Anybody know the atv rules at Spokane Dragway? I wouldn't mind making some passes there since it is so close to me.

Most of the time its up to the individual Track Tech People, and how they inforce the rules. Some of them don't know much about the ATV Rules. They just look at the ATV, if its clean and the tires are correct they say have fun.

I called a Track once, to check and see if it was ok to bring a ATV to run at their Track... They said sure, but no Mud is allowed on the Quad, it has to be clean. When we alll showed up they were suprised....no mud. rof They had never seen anything like it....(I guess a clean quad).

When you get a NHRA License, does it show that you are a ATV Racer? If you are Racing a ATV that would be a way to show how many of us there are....
I did Order a NHRA Rule Book today. And a License is Next for me. I've been Racing all these Years and have never been asked to show a NHRA or IHRA License...I don't know if one is needed or not. But I don't Race in NHRA or IHRA Events either...
