i received a call last weekend that Jeff Coy's OEM TRX557 (Jannsen/DRG build) was in the 3.9's (all motor), and was able to back it up a few times that day too.
IMHO, that's fast for any TRX- no matter what track its timed on...

One of the guys from NC was in our class at Planetsand this year on a 450R based Honda. I think it was a 501cc and he went some 4.3's on it. Very impressive to say the least. I'm very familiar with that build too!!

my 501r will run consistant 30s best off a 4.33 avg. is 34 and 35 but i hope to be in the 20s with in the next few weeks. My other 501 runs high 50s and 60s. Who is DRG? your right.... i couldnt tell from your signature.... maybe you could get 4.1's if you changed frames or if you changes the air in your tires... just curious who designed and built both of your engines?
