im trying to put a bigger front sprocket on my 08 yfz but i cant get the carrier to turn to loosen up my chain. i have already loosen the 4 bolts up on the swing arm but not sure what im doing wrong.

Get a big pair of channel locks to turn the carrier.Make sure ur turning it the right way.It might be loose as it will go already and u will eathier need to add a link or just get a new longer chain

yea there is a tool and it should be under the seat in a tool bag.But u should be able to still turn it with very large channel locks.Take a pic of it and post it up.

isn't there a hole in the stock carrier (sprocket side)? stick a screw driver in there and push the bike until the screwdriver hits the axle causing the carrier to spin.
