louis is human last time i checked and what the [censored] you mean you shouldnt have to check parts when there new out of the box ive bought trannys that were messed up when i got them i have bought chassis's that were [censored] up when i got them i seen slipshot break 2 transmissions brand new ones in gilbert sheared the shaft in half and there fore did you see him on here making a big deal. but i forgot that you can tune the transmission shaft.. back to the crank everyone is running bigger and heavier tires then they had problems with jackshafts breaking now they got that solved and now the crank is the next part in line the 4 degrees off is louies problem but you would be surprized if you knew how many cranks are alot worse than that and i said to do the rockwell test now to see if its correct and if it is ok then what you dumbfucks im not sticking up for him i just hate to see people run there mouth and not know everything about the situation mark even said at the track that he didnt see it being louies fault

from what i understand about this crank problem is that louie order two stock rotax 800 twin cranks to make one 4cy crank which is what the engine builder ask for!! louie should have made sure that the crank was not out 4 degrees on to cylinders !! but apparently that didnt cause the crank failure! as far as the pto end breaking off, that 800 rotax crank is in an engine that makes 160 hp not 320 plus hp!!! also maybe this engine has some harmonics that is causing the crank failure, rotax primary clutch has a built in rubber damper just for harmonics!!! but i will say louie should have called - answer his phone regarding this crank it would make for better customer service!!! jmo

This whole problem just came about because Louis would not answer the phone and ignored the problem ....if he had of just answered the phone one time and took the crank back he could have re-indexed it in a matter of just hrs and them no problems ! And mark referred to the end breaking off probably not being louies fault is because he realizes louie did not machine the parts he just assembles them ....bottom line louie is getting bashed on this ordeal just because he simply wouldn't answer the phone to even have a conversation on the problem

1. Mark has touched base with Loui and he is trying to help us.

2. The crank is custom billet, not 2 stock 800s.

3. Mark did never say it wasnt Loui's fault. We pay Loui for the crank, not Matoon.

That is strange the engine builder spoke to a friend of mine about making a billet pto side of crank& I was sure he said they were stock cranks!!! My bad!!
