I personally think that is a idea for disaster. Thats like telling the Top Fuel guys to give up a safty device to see who a Driver is and who isn't. Sorry but I see it like it is. A wheelie bar is a Safty device as well as makes the set up more controllable and can get it to the ground better.
If your guy or girl feels safe running without a Bar so be it, but one day you may change your mind when a bike gets a bite at the wrong time and becomes a mouse trap. On Asphalt the Driver can get hurt way quicker than a human can react.
Best of luck to you.

just take it around and race it , I doubt very seriously that there will ever be a no bar class at an event for bikes that run 5.70 or under 3.8 why would there be. I want my riders around for the next race. they have nothing to prove , they have already done that. plus no track around here wants the liability

in general, more than likely if we are running an event and a 3.50 bike pulls up in the other lane with no bar, I will let them make a solo pass cause i dont want that bike losing it and running into my team mid track. and I would definitely not enter a no bar class but thats just me

bike looks really fast , and I am sure you are but just be careful smile

there is an art to setting up a wheelie bar, its not like we just slap one on there and run it wink

are you guys comfortable running against a guy that has a 5.7 bike and the only way you will race him is if he takes the bar off? and he does. I would be worried
In my opinion if guys pull there bar off to run a class they are asking for trouble.

heck I want it to stay on the bar for almost the whole pass in 300 feet grin
