i just moved to royse city and a 1/8 mile track(red line) is only 10 miles from me. i called and they said they allow guads as long as they are clean. i usually run 300 feet but there arent any tracks here in texas. so i mines as well give the asphalt a try. thanks i'll grab me a set of tires next week.

Some guys say go around the water box do a dry hop and go from there. Others say go through the water box do a good hot burn out and go from there. The American Racer Tire isn't really desinged for a Burn out all though some do it anyway. It all depends on what works for you as all Tracks are not created equally. + they change with the Temps and humidity as well as other factors. Gearing,Chassie Goemitry,Tire Air Pressure,Jetting, Jocky Position play a roll but one of the most important factors is Clutch tunning.
