Ive got a 2004 yfz 450 that runs fine in till it gets hot.Once it gets hot it shuts off and have to wait for it to cool down for it to run again.Any pointers on what it can cause this to happen I have heard of electical issues on this year.

i'm not exactly sure but, a buddy of mine had that prob on his the shop told him it was a sensor that was bad. they told him it acts like a fuse link when it gets hot. he has sold the bike since then but thats what he was told by the shop. hope this helps out.
