hows these coming along..

can it be bought with a blank dome or what head is used? a single cast head or replaceable style?

does it use the cr500 rod/ crank set up? i have a short rod 86 style bottom end.

the head takes inserts and you can get them blank , it uses the 144 cr500 rod and I believe the cases will make up the 5 mm for the 139 rod so I think that kit will work on the early setup also

ya rod difference is in the case so youll be good. check availability of the shorter rod. at one time recently it was discontinued but maybe honda made another batch. if you go with the longer rod on them cases you probly have to use a spacer underneath the spacer thats required for the liger. now that would be interesting to see grin. what would that be like 10mm of spacers lol

OR....you could use one of our "short-top" pistons which we have been building for the Sabertooth/Caracal/Scimitar engines for several years.....they "happen to be" an even 5mm shorter in deck height than our Liger pistons..... grin

i did a couple searches and there are a few runnign around i just cannot find much info on them i did post up a online build up with pictures a shop did. but thats about how far the line goes on that one..

There are a few ligers out. Two mated to lt500 bottom ends for 300ft drags. One a 650 and one a 685. Then there is two I believe on cr500 bottom ends. One for dune and one for drags. Maybe...
