15/46 is taller. And yes the bigger counter sprocket puts the chain in less of a bind.
46 divided by 15 = 3.0666666 43 divided by 14 = 3.0714285 Ok thank you for that, learn something new everyday. Those to gearings are very close but I wanted to know the difference, thanks again.

A disadvantage of 15/46 over 14/43 is the extra weight of the sprockets (and perhaps extra link of chain). An advantage is that it's much easier on the chain, and the bigger back sprocket (in theory) creates more torque to turn the axle. The ratio is negligible. I run bigger sprockets when possible, jmo. Any other opinions? I agree that with bigger sprockets the easier it is for the chain to roll.
