thanks jeff. it's one of those honda knock off's. 50cc case with stroke and bore to 125cc. 4 spd clutchless....his hands are too small for a clutch lever!

oh nice. those motors are nice because they are cheap to replace and actually make nice lil power. Plus down the road if he wanted to go faster they have big bore kits and ported heads for them for like $200. I have one of those in one of my atc 70's.

i was told this is the biggest stroke and bore for the 50cc lower. i know the 70's and 90's can go bigger.

You'd can get bigger in the same motor bolt patern. I'm just not sure you would want to go any bigger then the 125cc with the auto clutch. I have a t-bolt 140 in my atc70 that I ran a 8.5 at Dunefest with dirt tires and me witch is 240# on it so I don't think at 4 he would be ready for that. Theres a web site called hondaatc70.com that has a new motor thats 150cc and e-start that just came out and they have a stroker 192cc that would be alot of fun to.
