Deland is always bike week and biktoberfest. No timing and the track blows. All the racing goes on after they close the track on Saturday on the back roads. Alot of horseshit and one hell of a fine if your caught.
Lakeland allows quads and the rules aren't to bad. Gainsville does not allow anyone else to run besides Roger and his crew.

All the street racers here are from Miami , mostly Banshee's and one fast ass DS650 that is bored and stroked. I get them to go to the sand to race and my TRX330R give them a run for there money. They are suprised how quick my R is and Im not light weight, I weigh 260 lbs. Fast George and his boys come over here to play.

He came to run me in wildwood with the red and yellow bike he blew it up in about 2 min. He was at Lakeland with the big REX bike He had Rick from Bartow Polaris tunning on it I ran him for the hell of it, He hit me with a red light but i hit him back with a 1.32 60ft, he was less than tenth faster but he was on a BIG REX I was on a little 350

Yeah the red/yellow bike was a turd. It never ran worth a crap. I ran it a few times for fun and was not at all impressed.

I never got to really see it run he unloaded it took off like a bat out of hell skipping and popping the whole way it was way way too lean it blew up so we gave someone else 5 and the break and tried to give SILVER 8 and the brake but he was all mouth, Surely you know silver right?

No I'm out of Haines City / Davenport area Wildwood is about 35 miles north of me its just where every now and then they get together and do some street racing

You guys haven't seen the raptor that spanked Silver's bike a couple months back.It moves pretty good.

The racing is starting back up down in miami,there's been a couple decent races in the last couple weeks.Tudy's bike got beat,but from what I heard the other guy crossed over and was blocking Pedro's lane.Dude wouldn't race Tudy's bike back,so Pedro spanked the guy with one his bikes.

I havent seen any Raptors around here that are fast not saying that there isnt one but i would love to see it

It was funny to watch.The banshee was strapped down and on slicks an the raptor was a stand up bike on knobs.They gave the raptor I think three an the crack in the 1/4 an the banshee only got one maybe two back an that was it, they were done.

went saturday. blew up the two bikes i was taking the week before so showed up just to watch. Nothing impressive. Bo was there with the cheetah bike but could not get a race going with anyone. I saw a black bike there with trex cylinders which was the only other thing that looked fast. None of the miami people showed up. We were hoping that we would see more bikes there but people need to go to events to help this sport grow. Tony Doukas was there he says hes got a bike for sale that should be dipping down into the 5's with an aftermarket chromoly chasis.

Is there any sand or asphault tracks near Daytona Beach....Im going there for spring break and if there is a place to race im going to bring my bike.

Only place I know of in the area is Deland it is an asphalt strip. Not worth it though. I do not know of things happening there to often. When will you be down. They have an event during March.

well i ride a blaster should be fast i am waiting for the engine to come back from CPcustoms (Craig) I normaly ride around crome and 136 st Ihave herd of a drag track in ocala called saltsdale (sand track) Ihave never been there but i look foward to going once i get my engine back. what do you ride??

Banshees mostly and now working on a new setup that I should have running for next month. I know the area you ride. Lots of agriculture fields. Cool place to ride.

yea we will be going up to ocala for a big event about 200 quads its on jan 21 till the 23 its going to be real fun a 3 day event. We should ride some time i ride with a nice group of guys its only 8 of us but we have a blast together.

I will be in daytona during the end of march and the begining of april.

No he has been bringing bikes out of Tampa not too sure of who they are but Rome has been putting up the money and ridding the bikes, The first bike was a yellow and black bike with welded cylinders and an override trans we gave him 3 with a flag man itv was a joke the race was over in about 100ft that bike was a turtle, so he called up the next day wanting to run another bike, He brought down a slammed black bike with stock cylinders I think his name is Shannon from Tampa, we ran him heads up and again handed him his ass, Rome went down $1,300 the first night and $1,100 the secound and he called last night wanting to do something in Bradenton on runday sunday so it looks like he will be bringing the new t-rex he just had built we will see how it goes <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

i've been told that somebody is paying to fly in kim & rayce of k&t to that race to put a tune up on a big cylinder bike that k&t built.a big 16mill from what i been told.

Heading up from MIA with three bikes a 500 Trike, Trex, and a rocket.

Not to sure The track is on Hwy 64, But i dont know about the tunning part but it is a 16mil REX That was promised to run under 5.80's but Hell i dont think it has even been in the 6's yet, He calls it GODZILLA I dont know why but he wants to beat me bad but every thing he brings i take his money and send him home I got a phone call tonight saying that he is tired of playing around and he is going to put GODZILLA on me this weekend I told him give me 5 bikes and the brake and its on but he wants head up can you see this 16mil terex against a stock stroke .030 over banshee COME ON so if he wont give me the 5 he shouldnt even unload sunday <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

O and the track is in Bradenton right of the road on hwy64 i think gates open at 9 close at 5 and its this sunday

Thats what i thought but i was told today that its not, I dont know who he is but i was told they call him DIRT he is the one with the 16mil from K&T and they are going to tune the bike for him sunday to run Pedro i think is his name

His name is Derek (Durk).He's had alot of K&T motors but have'nt been able to get them tuned,so rumor is he is flying in Kim or somebody from K&T to tune it.

Dirk is wanting to race anyone like Pedro from 99performance or turi from greemachine. He has had a few motors from K&T but it is very hard to get races here. His 16mill is suppost to be fast but I just would like to see some races. Now that it is winter it is time for the races to begin.

Dirk tries to bet you out of racing that way he can say your scared to race when he's the one scared to race.Him and his boys bitched out twice on us last month,had us waiting on him at 41st all night.

Well we just got in from bradenton and it was a joke there was only two bikes other than mine so as always i have herd alot of talk then nobodys shows up O well maybe next time

i was told the race is on saturday. i'll be there march 11-13. but i'll only be at the track saturday, the rest of the time i'll be in the bars scoping out the sites

Lots of bars to hop. There is always something going on in Daytona during bike week. If you go to the track on Saturday stop by and say whatsup. I will have a black trailer with a CR500 threewheeler, a banshee and a snomo quad hopefully. We are still tunning and modifying. Its getting tight but I think we will be able to bring all three bikes.

I have the the flier in front of me is says March 10,11,12,13 The 10th is Harley Drag DAY, Most of the atv will be there sat the 12th and the 13th, I will be going saturday not to sure about sunday but if everone shows that says they are going we should see alot of bikes over powering the hell out of that track so you guys that will be gambling all your money on a race you better be careful

There are sand drags at Saltsdale which is in Umatilla on March 12th. If anyone is interested in dragging on the dirt. I am trying to have a bike ready for Deland but we may be going to Saltsdale first.

im down here in miami. they got a few fast bikes down here. i ride a raptor. where is saltsdale??? i went to the four stroke wars in cali last month saw a lot of fast bikes and even more land to ride on. my buddy took home 3 trophies and i blew a head gaskett.
