Who did his engine work? I am in the same boat...dont want to spend any more money on the bike since I am trying to sell it. I am content with it how it is because I run bracket, and I am not trying to be the fastest polaris. Keep me updated on the progress and let me know how his setup works.

Anyone looking for a drag polaris $2900 takes it. Look under 2 stroke classifieds under polaris 400 dragbike.

right now we are going to try and make it if everything goes alright. come on kathy, ya'll can sit with us I don't know if we are going to race or not but, if we bring any bikes you can ride 1 of ours, it will be slower than what you are used to but you can still try it.

I should make it, but dont know yet. I have had some potential buyers but none have gone through yet. Been waiting to see what they do before I do anymore, but I have some good ideas to get it in the 4.6-4.8 range with not much work. We will have to see. Even if we dont race we will be out there.

Yeah, you are wrong. My bike went 4.83 at its best and 4.90 the first weekend out. All motor, and it weighs a ton. I know it has some more in it, but I have only ran the bike once since I rebuilt it. Maybe you should check your bike and see how to get more out of it, because I used to see a 250r built by packard run some 4.2s in ms.

Well all in all I am just glad there will be more competitors next year. I think it is an accomplishment just to get those tanks to run faster than a 5.0. I hope most of the bikes next year are running mid 4s. Next year planet sand will be the place to run them and see who is the fastest(not that it really matters)...as far as I see it, that is neutral grounds. Most people run great times at their own track, but when they go to someone else's track they run slower. There are a lot of variables that factor into this. I did only see your bike go a 4.95 fastest in Monticello, but as I said it wasn't your track(mine either). If the bike lost a few pounds I am sure it would go a bit faster as well. Good luck to all next year.

you have any pics of this bike? that sounds like some really good times. The guy that bought my bike is running 4.5s and 4.6s on dirt....(modified stock frame w/4wd tranny) .040 over no nos. I may have one built next year, but it is a long shot. Post some pics and times..would like to see it.

Everyone on here keeps talking about these fast Polaris's and the time slips but no one seems to post them. Come on I know a win is a win, but you know that banshee wasnt running right you can hear it. Please you all know it cant beat that banshee if tuned right and on a 300ft track.

I understand where you are coming from. A good running cub shee will beat a polaris, but at the same time I dont think these times are far off. I can see one easily running a 4.4 on a lightened frame. You must realize these engines are just starting to come around. Many people dont feel that they are worth the time, but there are others that just like the challenge and at the same time you cant ask for a better bracket bike. It wasnt but a few years back when the big banshee engines were running 4.1s, but look at where they are at now.

I could be wrong, but that one I believe was the first stroker. Was it green, w/ drag pipe?

Did the person buy it from a guy in brookhaven mississippi? There was a big fella that had packard do him a stroker, w/black drag pipe, and a 50mm lectron alky carb. It was pretty quick, but not for what it had in it. Nice bike though.

we have a drag frame polaris it runs 4.9s but the swing-arm was to long so we went back to a stock swing-arm it should go 4.7s all motor (no nos or stroke)
