Goodale's bike broke. It ran a best of 3.119 @ 106. K&T's twin went a best of 3.37 @ 105. K&T's stuff was flyin'. Dan's triple was running in the .40's on motor. It was an awesome time again!!!!!

I had posted that K&T ran a 3.33, based on a verbal conversation but we have not yet confirmed the ticket.

Officially, we do have A&S ticket at 3.352 @ 98.82 mph on the Triple, and a ticket for K&T at a 3.37 @ 100

Nice Job to Jamie Lewis and again to Billy Page for taking the runner up position for the second year, WITHOUT having a bike running near the times the K&T twin was running. Both are some amazing drivers.

Good job to all of the winners!

Should have stayed for the 350OEM class, but the rest of my party did not race any of the heads up classes so they wanted to leave Thurs. and after Friday they wanted to leave. 3 against one and it isn't your truck = you loose!

Does anyone know what the winning time was for Brandt? I know my 350 was running a tenth faster then Rich Wood's bike and we had an awesome race in the second round of the ET class. We had the same dial times 4.35 although my bike ran a 4.26 and a 4.24 the day before, with me driving the bike. The morning test pass I ran a 4.37 so I dialed the 4.35. It was kind of lame to meet a fellow racer and friend from MI, in the second round, but that how the ladder fell. It was an awesome race and one of those that if you are going to lose, it is a good way to lose. Rich got me on the lights with a .407 to my .465 reaction time. I clearly saw him get the holeshot and just tucked and tried to catch him. Well I did but not close enough to the finish line to not let out of it and I brokeout with a 4.32, to his 4.37. I thought I had never passed him but he confirmed I did and was coming hard, he said. It is better to lose like this then a redlight or a sleeping at the light lose.

What was this double elimination that has been mentioned. What classes had double eliminations? Did Jamie lewis beat Mike Goodale twice in the four cylinder class and if so what were Mike's times? Mike's bike was not running correctly, because he would never get beat on the lights and he ran the 3.11 @ 106 on Tuesday.

At the drivers meeting that morning, the question was brought forth about double eliminations. It was then decided that the 4 100% Payback classes would be run double. 1-2-3-4 Cyl Unlim. Wasn`t any need to put it to a vote, as everyone was pretty much all for it. Kinda came down to if Jeff wanted to stay that late `cause he was a whooped puppy. He ended up being cool with it though ... thanks for stepping up.

Thanks for the list, Chick.

I should have stayed! I would race a bike that was running .2 faster then me because there would be a possibility of beating him on the tree, but it sounds like Brant, wouldn't have done that. Even so, I would have entered. The other 3 guys I was with, talked me into leaving early, because I didn't think I could compete against a 350 running 3.8's. I also didn't find it necessary to enter the two cylinder class when K&T's twin was running 3.3' and the best I have ran, with my now little motor, is 3.8's. I went home with an extra $250 for the entry fees that could have been added to the pot, had the times not been disclosed.

Where was Gunner and Rob Earls 350 in the 350 OEM class? Did Rob Earls enter the bike running 3.8's with Gunner on it? If he didn't, then it must not have been a 350??

they had a shifting issue in the 350 oem class and went out first round, they came back and won the 350 modified class with the 350 oem bike. That bike was inspected and verified that it was a 350 oem non triple port. Like they say anything can happen in racing.

Gunnar rode RDZ's 350 oem stock cylinder bike in both 350 classes the bike was consistantly in the 3.8's with a best of 3.851

Thanks for the info. I guess the 350 OEM class got a break, with the shifting problem.

Do you know how many entries there were in each 350 class?

Thanks for the PM Sparks. And let me qualify what I said by this: I was not there, and only asked based on what I was told. Gunner also said he did NOT get all the prize $ after all. So I will reserve any further comment on that topic. I hope it all turns out for the best. And the 4mm that he won with we did build, but he owns it. It is his personal motor.

So that must mean the biggest motor he rode all week was his own then. Pretty Cool considering all the hoopla surrounding him riding

That shows Jimmy is a man of his word Now let see if Gunnars bike ever shows up. I really dont see how anycody had any fun with all the drama going on. What was the difference this year that caused it. You cant blame it all on Gunner. We need more good sports and less sore losers Remember when we were all kids and played soccer, you lose you still give the other guy a "good game". Thats what we need not pages of complaining. Some people drove a long way to get there only to have there time ruined by a few whiners

What class did he win with his own 4mm motor?

He only rode his own bike in the 0-6mm limited class. I thing He went bettween 85-88mph on his on his 4mm, so I don't think he actually hit 90mph LOL

Actually he did run a much bigger bike for someone, might have even been on nos, but the fastest mph he went was on his own bike, I am pretty sure.

Maybe more importantly, Winning is not everything. You guys kill me, That is all you care about was winning. Ill tell you the truth here, when I heard Rob was bribing Gunnar to run against Jimmy and Brant, There was a massive effort to get ahold of Jimmy and apologise. I was hoping gunnar would lose. Bottom line, as well as some people very close to him. I know gunnar, I know he is a good kid and I know his mother cares alot about him. She wanted him to be happy, she didnt realize the drama it would cause. RDZ doesnt care about him and gunnar is working now to fix some of the problems he caused out there. Brant deserved to win, gunnar didnt. Thats my opinion. Brant carried himself like a true gentleman and Gunnar would have too if one of us would have made it down there with him. He got greedy, bottom line and he almost lost alot more than the 2500 he won. He should never have jumped on RDZ bikes....

you may not realize it, BUT the thread about rider age was started by and carried on by mostly ppl who did NOT even attend the race at all. i know i had a blast at the race, regardless of all of this. i find it hard to believe ppl that didnt attend can say how much of a flop it was, when they didnt even witness any of it first hand. does anyone else find that a bit odd?

Thats F-ing bad when RDZ has to mess with a CHILDS HEAD and tell him he`s going to give him money and a bike just to get a faster et so he can sell more motors . i don`t think PS needs this kind of sponsor one that will endanger a CHILDS LIFE.

It has been 2 days Corey!!!!..............You were not even there!......YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WENT ON DOWN THERE!

Did you know that I was on the phone to Nate when Gunner went down?.....Did you know that I didn't tell Nate that it was Gunner that had crashed on the other end of the track?.....Does that mean that I didn't care what happened to Gunner?....Does that mean that I didn't think it was any of Nate's business?
What it ment is that I wanted to find out how bad he was hurt before I told Nate he had crashed....because I knew Nate does care about Gunner!......As for you getting into the middle of this, I think you just want to stir up some [censored]!

What did you expect Rob to do FLY THE QUAD TO HIM?

I have sat here and watched Rob take the brunt of all this "he endangered the poor young man" crap, even though he had a smaller bike for Gunner to ride than what Nate had built for him. Does that mean that Nate put Gunner in harms way more than Rob did? Does the fact that someone built him a light frame mean they took advantage of "the poor boy"?

People have been posting that the 350 was probably not "legal", that he took advantage of Gunner, that he won't stand up to his promice of paying Gunner what he said............As far as Rob taking advantage of Gunner.........Didn't see it! It was after everybody else saw a .2 second time difference that EVERYBODY ELSE that tried to recruit Gunner did try to take advantage. Is it Rob's fault that Gunner and his mom decided to go for the money?....NO! I don't think Rob had ANYTHING to do with bringing the young man into this world, so how can we hold him responsible for his welfare?.....To me that would be up to his mom and dad to decide, and they aparently feel he can handle a 4mill on a light weight drag chassis, so why is a stock frame 350 out of line?

As for the engine being legal..........IT WAS LEGAL!!!....I was asked to measure the engine bore and stroke and check for triple ports and epoxy........I did!..........The engine was legal!.............PERIOD!

As for whether Rob will live up to his word or not, I haven't seen anything to make me believe he will not. I had never met Rob until the PS Drags less than a week ago, so I don't have ANY HISTORY with him....I am not a cheerleader, and I don't usually give credit out if I don't feel it is deserved, that being said, I say give the man a few days to get the bike ready for Gunner and if he doesn't come through with what he said......GUNNER OR HIS MOM should get into sand slingers and let him have it...............BUT .............IT IS NON OF YOUR BUSSINESS!..............and it is certainly non of mine, so we shouldn't be bad-mouthing Rob for anything!

You are right Calvin, I was in the wrong to say anything. I have no reason to not believe that there is a bike on the way to him. I just hope there isa way to work this out civil so these guys can continue to ride at these races. Thats all I have to say on this subject.........

Here's the story on the bike. I told gunner & his mom that i would build him a bike for cost on all the parts and do the labor for free! As for the winnings money he got all the money for the second place in the 7-12mm class he got half the money for the 1st place in the 350 modified class & half the 1000.00 from jim's sand toy's.

isn't it kind of sad that you have to share PERSONAL dealings with all of the vultures on here that had absoulutely nothing to do with yours and Gunners deal? it is bullshit when people stick their noses in others business, and speak on secondhand information.

that is true, here is a post i made in the other thread a long time ago,........i am not trying to offend anyone,..

don't jump off bridges and run things into the ground untill gunner or someone from his crew can talk with you guys,....

The ONLY thing that I am going to say about this subject here is that I remember you saying that you were giving ALL the prize money to Gunner after he decided that he would ride the 350! Now it seems as if that either wasn't done, or wasn't the agreement......but that is what you told me you were going to do. I don't know anything about a bike because I wasn't there and have no first hand knowledge of what was said, other than what you told me at the track.

Ok here was the agreement between me and gunner. It was that we spit all the winnings and i said ok no problem. The first race he came in second in the 7-12mm class and i was so happy i told him he could have all the money. The next race was the 350 modified he 1st and we split that. On top of that i got 2 copies of the trophies made that will be send to him.

Gunnar told me he would get half the winnings, and Rob would build him a bike at a really big discount if he were to win the 350 class. 1st hand knowledge and 2 others can verify that. As far as having a good time, everyone I had talked to was havin a ball, even though alot of them were wore out from being down there for almost a full week. Like I said in a another post, was one of the greatest events I have ever been to!

With all do respect you are trying to stir the pot, Rob has already said what he told Gunnar and his mom, and Gunnar was well compensated for riding for Rob and Rob made a very generous offer to do a bike at cost on parts and his labor for free. This matter is between Rob, Gunnar, and his mom. If you have any ?'s try asking the parties involved not a public forum. Then maybe this topic could get back on track. Race Results

get what he had coming, many people need what they got coming, its not anyones bussines other than rob gunnar and his mother, why does it have to be such a big deal, i wouldn't care if it was a 300 pound fat lady, or a dog as long as the times are getting laid down, oem 350 at 3.851 at 89 mph is all that matters, as long as fast times r getting laid down people r gonna be talking smack. see u at the track and im gonna have my 9 year old daughter layin passes down for me.
