No disrespect, but you telling me that to get credit you have to be at planet sand. I ain't trying to take credit away from him. But we ran good times, and he even said so at the races.
I meant he earned at planet sand. That is THE most recognized drag race and track in our sport.
There have been other 4strokes that broke into 3.90's at other tracks but never did at planet sand. They never got credit from the majority.
We just need to get together and see who can do it locally to us. Maybe State Capitol?
I will give anyone credit when I see it myself at a track with working guard beams and is considered a legitimate track. I have been told that RRSD is a very nice track and alot of effort has been put into it. I am not positive about the existance of/or guard beams working there though (yet).
Do I think Finishlines raptor is capable? Yes
Do I think they clipped the start beams with the rear tires? Yes
Post the slip with reaction times 60ft mph and let the people here have a say.
Do it locally. Why ? You just said it yourself. We won't get credit for it. This is my point of view. Whiteghost ran a 3.995 at planet sand. Correct? He ran several 3.996 passes at red river. Correct? Why is it now, AFTER all this can he say that just our times are wrong? Next point, Scholle, a couple of your team members were at red river. (Not going to say names, they can chime in if they feel like it) Ask them if they saw the last pass scotty made and if so ask them if he left late. Just get their opinions on it. Next, Whiteghost I'm at a loss for words. You stood there and congradulated us to our faces and turned around and you now say we didn't do it. In my opinion you are sad little man. And let there be no doubt in your mind, If someone I ride with would do that I would tell them the same thing. In fortunate enough that my dad taught me to stand by my words.
