ok... you guys can all breathe easy now... we are not going... yep, the really fast bikes are stayin' home... lol... j/k about the fast bike part!...
we just got back from ls and overall had a great time... even though we hit a 600lb cow 18 miles from waynoka thursday night on the way in... i tapped the brakes and swerved to avoid a head on collision with the beast but it still did some damage to the truck and trailer... but the bikes were ok, we are ok, and all can be fixed...
ran on jimmy's track fri night and sat morning and had a blast... the track is definately fast and we feel we ran pretty good there overall...
we were gonna dyno the alky bikes but nancy the dyno girl was too big of a puss to dyno an override... we were gonna dyno all 4 of our bikes but when he said he didn't want the liability of doing an override, i said no deal on any of them... he didn't care because he had a slew of 40hp junk lined up to keep him busy all day... what a joke!...
after that, all was good until logan traded some paint/skin with someone on the dunes sat night while play racing his 4mm... none of us saw what happened because we were all racing at the time too... but he bruised his left ankle and scraped up his leg pretty good... the bike must have flipped at least once and completely trashed his handlebars... then someone on a 450 hit him from behind in all the mayhem... the 450 mainly hit the grab bar and rear tires and only left a small scratch in the grab bar... no one was seriously hurt and logan is ok and so is the 4mm... at least we think... we are going to tear into it tonight to make sure the frame and all is ok... that sand is pretty forgiving... wish us luck!...
if there was anyway we could join you all at sandfest, we would... just don't think we can swing the time off... but for those going, beware of dangerous cows on 281 between alva and waynoka!... lol... there were like 6 of them out that night... so to everyone going, be safe and have a great time...
