i have a 2001 raptor. it has 2 k&n filters, no air box, 21x12x8 skats 8 paddles on 8x8 rims, 12 x 45 gears, nitrous oxide system, 2 fogger nozzles 14 x 18 jets. so far i have ran three 2.5 lbs. nitrous bottles threw it. on the flat it runs great. on sand mtn. it "pinged" and ended up scuffing the piston(oops!).
i have since tore it down to drop a mid. cam, 10.7 to 1 comp. piston, dyno jet kit, barrnet clutch, maguara clutch lever, heavy duty valve springs. still haven't decided which pipe to put on it, so for now the stocker with the "cork" taken out will have to do. i hope to have it back together this weekend. will keep posting updates.
if anyone has ideas, please let me know!

i'm currently looking at modifying my stock ignition so i can back the timing off, but i haven't even looked into buying a kit. i'm also planning on running aviation fuel to help out with the detination problem.
i'd be very interested in hearing about everyone elses machines and what they've tried.
