Shockwave Journeyman Registered: 12/12/02 Posts: 406 Loc: NC	Get it low to the ground as you can,gear it REAL high, we run 19/34-35 sprockets with 18-19" tires(tt tires like slicks) scooter tire son front and 1-5 overrides. extend the swing at least +8 and practice leaving and ridng the clutch some. Get the suspension harder than sand setting too. We run 1000 psi on pavement in our Marvins and 450psi when dragging in dirt.(weight transfer not needed on pavement) OH YEAH, THIS ONES REAL IMPORTANT, HOLD ON REALLY REALLY TIGHT! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> _________________________ Im back

Alcoholic Rookie Registered: 03/11/03 Posts: 214 Loc: Michigan	I have to slip the clutch to get good 60fts on the blacktop. Where on the sand you can just cut loose. If you do the same on the blacktop you either spin the tires or bog the engine.

Shooter Bad Ass Registered: 07/12/02 Posts: 1677 Loc: Michigan	exactly .. .lots and lots of RPM ..tall gearing ... and the most important a good launching straight chassis ... nothing sucks more than launching to the side and almost hitting a gaurd rail.... dont set your tires by pressure set them by diameter to launch straight on the street .. and make damn sure your steering is dead on straight of very slightly towed in .. other wise youll have a bad experience past 80mph .. and its real scary past 100mph with a shacky bike... Hope it helps ... and like Shockwave said ..hold on tight and if your back aint hurtin your not launching hard enough..like the boys from Sanford racing say ... " Break your Back" you launch so hard .. lol Shooter out ..
