Running the lockup will allow you to adjust the clutch a lot better, for improved 60ft times.

no [censored] 3-4 weekends without lockup.mine would only last one day and that was not using 5th gear.if i used 5th it would fry instantly with 15x41 gearing 22x11x8 10 paddle ultralites.and i know your [censored] has more power than mine

We arent in the sand witht hose big paddles but we are running steep gears(19-34!) and making around 100hp with the T-Rex by Port magic and at least 90+ with the 4mm he did us and running mid to high sixes in the eigth mile at 100+mph. (stock frames and 200+lb rider) I am going to try one and let everyone know how it goes. I was told that after 85 hp or so that everyone loses hp to the clutch slippage.

Ive emailed the guys at direct drive about the lock ups and costs for everything "twice" and they do not return emails.
I hope they will answer the phone when I call.

I was very happy with my lock-up from Direct Drive.
