I was wondering if there where any rules on how quads are setup to run on asphalt drag tracks as far as what is and whats not allowed i.e motor setups and frames.

The local ones we frequent pretty much just require a leather jacket and helmet and long pants. Ive seen 350 powered lawnmowers go down the track! The frame and set up is up to you. If NHRA ever has a class,the rules they have posted are VERY stringent to say the least. Local tracks dont really care what you ride as long as you have your helmet on. Check your local area tracks. Usually the same applies for motorcycles.
