Has anyone had any success running snowmobile style CVT's?

sure have, many sleds are running 8.80's and 8.90's in the 1/4 mile.

Those are some fast sleds.

I'm looking for some info on running a big snowmobile twin in a quad drag frame. Does anyone run the snowmobile tranny or do they mate up the engine to motorcycle or quad cases?
