only triple caracal i saw was GT Performance...and it broke something on the start line...i think the DMX, Cougar's, and Big Twisters were just as fast as the caracal though smaller...

really--our k and t caracal went 3.40 numerous times on saturday. we were not there to run it before then. i know we were fast qualifier for the heads up twin saturday nite so dont think anything ran quicker.

i knew you were fast, but didnt know it was that big...you did good until that last pass when you got all the "smoke" around u and it looked like something was on fire...

that is a good runing bike...congrats...

I like those TWIST THROTTLES that they have on them bikes. Who makes them.

The sky is the limit when you have money like that.

You could build 7 cub motor for the price of that one turbo dmx.

MRE makes the twist throttles,along with motion pro...just to let you know from first hand experience..twist throttles on a drag race atv are not a good idea

it all comes down to a matter of prefernce..me personally..I can ride both,but I am way more comfortable with the thumb throttle

My prefernce is twist, as i can ride for hours and hours, might be because i used to ride dirt bikes before quads . with the thumb throttle i cant unless i make the return spring weaker, which we all know is not a good idea. lol

The "problem" some see with a twist throttle is when you are under hard acceleration and trying hard to hold onto the bar, a twist throttle is "hard to let off of", because you need to move your body forward, (or relax your grip), to back off the throttle. A thumb throttle allows you to keep your fingers gripped around the bar and still back off the throttle.......the BAD thing about a thump throttle is as the carbs have gotten bigger, the length of throttle cable pull needed to open the slides has also increased....meaning the "leverage" needs to be lengthened to allow more throttle cable movement with the same amount of thumb movement......which means the throttle is harder to push because of the leverage factor......now add 1 more carb for a triple or two more carbs for a 4 cylinder and you can understand why some riders have gone back to twist throttles.

I actually saw more than one rider at the Planet Sand Drags this year "throw their thumb out of socket" because of the pressure needed to open the slides on the multi cylinder bikes with thumb throttles.........Someone needs to start working on a "throttle by wire" system.....

I prefer a twist throttle on asphalt so it becomes easiler to roll into the throttle.

u CANT let out when u are falling off the bike...its just common sense...use some of it!!!...
