They got the name wrong though it was don vido that was racing not diedo. Good job to all the michigan racers that totally kicked butt and we hope to see you up at wmsd with atleast one of those D&M bikes donnie.

Took second on three different bikes....three different classes.

anybody know what kind of times the 0-400cc twin cylinder limited heads up bikes ran that took 1st&2nd in that class?

what was the fastest offical time of the whole event?

i ran a 3.20 with a tripple couger and ran a 3.22 & 3.23 on a 18 mill tripple

I think you'll find some times were right, some were wrong.
My buddy on my bike took second in the class above that, 0-475cc and after seeing a slip, it was wrong fo sho.

There is a post about the funky times and the reason why elsewhere, explained very nicely.... If you ran a heads up class Wed or Thurs, don't know which day they ran, first bike to the end won, but the times could be off...

my time slip's were on tuesday and wed. before any problem's occured.

and i backed up my time's

Yep...sure did Donnie. No Q's about it. But the MI boys down there said there was some funky times...including my bike. Charlie explained the whole ordeal with new porta Tree stuff, the engineer on site, etc.

I've got a time slip from Tuesday that I'm very happy with...:)

lol our 825 lmt did good to you are definitely fun to race by the way here is a pass with me on it tue at tnt. I am 204 lbs

it is a dm tripple 18/78bore and doug from D&M racing built it

sounds like the dm's almost were as fast as the cougars, at least at this early stage of running cougars....

anybody know what A & S triple twister ran?...or K & T's big triple?...


i think one of the best passes for both, and very close, was when the NOS bottle flew off of one of them and the other threw the chain and injured the rider...

that 3.77 pass was a 58 stoke 78 bore, with a 204lbs jackass i mean jockey lol on it

the one that won the 0-875 class?...was it a twin cougar?...
i am just trying to get an idea of what i want to build next for the various classes...

...i was there to witness the 4mm DM win and the times...prob. saw the 0-875 class too but dont remember or never heard the times...i remember one of your team bikes was in the final with "candyman" bike...

I dont know, I think the cougars are going to fly. I havent seen to many 20 mill dms run in the .40s on motor time will tell. we want to get on another track to compare we went .55 once .52 twice .51 once and .49 once on a new unpushed motor. 74 stroke 84 bore 120 lbs rider

lorio won the class on the billet spreadbore we won second with a 3.52 our rider I think forgot where he was at the tree lol but he still did a great job riding the beast

yeah yall had that one for sure if he'd gotten a good start...i heard dan say j. lorio had to leave in third for that finale because of a tranny issue...

thats what hurt so bad is he ran a 3.79 lol oh well I am well pleased and will be there next year

had to leave in 2nd, and only had 2nd and 3rd gear. the 1st and 4th gear shift fork was toast.

as for the triple, 3.31 on motor, and 3.29 on nos. the clutch in the triple couldn't handle to power. we were burning the clutch big time which explainw how you run a 3.3 at 88mph....

yeah and very little differnce in the motor and NOS runs...was it just too much power for the clutch set up?...

need more discs/plates? like the 11 disc on the 4 cyl. cougar?...

Congrats on Tim's 4 mill DM and Mike T's 20 mill cougar for running the best times in there classes. They were both on Deaf Man Chassis.

i just bought one of your chassis from aguy and i like and it straight as an arrow. i run a 4 mill twister in it and a 14 mill in one and they run good.

We are glad you like it, I believe the chassis you bought was the first one we ever built.

already have the 11 disc.

we sprayed the bike once, and ran the jet spread on the rich side to be conservative. the bike was not showing mph and i shifted through all of the gears by the 100ft mark. That, the low mph, and high 60ft were signs of a bad clutch...changed the fried clutch that night and fried another one the next go-round.

sounds like its making lots of power...

once yall get the clutch and tranny issues figured out its gonna fly...

Thanks for the compliment. Like they say you cant win them all. LOL but i sure would of liked to have won that one. But it is always fun to me whether i win or lose. I just like to ride lol.

Charlie you done a fine job riding we have next year to go.Can't too many people say they have ran a 3.49 pass.

sorry mark but that doe's not explain the motor builder's. so mark if i was to win on you'r bike and haul azz on it to were people were question the h.p and the bike design and all they saw was my name and a picture by the trophy how would you feel.


this is a motor builder's sport and the motor builder should get the credit deserved.... and if i am correct the p.s.race in l.a was designed for the motor builder's. correct me if i am wrong this is a motor builder's race once a year in april at jeff's track. because it is by far the best track in the wourld.... and by far the best people in the wourld make this race happen for us......

I hear you little buddy it is all good. Some people do not list the engine or bike builders, so it would be hard to list all of the builders for every bike. The race is for everyone to come and race at not just the builders. I took a 2nd place and i didn't have a picture put up. Jeff won 3 classes with the 2 stroke bike (that i built) and no pics either. Take a deep breath and relax it is going to be ok, noone is picking on you or d&m or treating you any differently.
ps. Jeff is going to have another race this fall before the avi i'll get a date on the race and let you know. hope you can make it down again.
