Always un hook all your electrical parts ( coil,CDI.PVL coils,digatron.and NOS parts) before welding anywhere on your bike. I figured this one out the hard way a few years ago _________________________

LOL Man, a welder will ruin more electrical parts than you care to mess with in one arc! Never did it on my banshee because I remove everything, but burned up 2 MSD's on my drag car before I figured out what the heck was going on. I had a full brand new MSD, dist, coil, ignition box and it was running hard and perfect. I welded a wheelie bar mount on the chassis and it ran like crap. Replaced the ignition box and it ran good again. All over on welding job. Not worth the headache.
